Pre-School
Our Setting
Cobham Community Pre-School is set in its own large room within the village community hall. The room is equipped for a wide variety of activities. The room includes a carpeted reading area, a playhouse and dressing up area. It also has sole use of a large garden with a sandpit, ride on toys and slides.
Our Staff
The pre-school Supervisor, Angela O’Brien, has a Level 3 Diploma in Playgroup Practice and manages a team of 5 experienced staff, all with child care qualifications. The team have been working together for a number of years.
Our Committee
Our setting is managed by a parent committee whose members are elected by the parents of the children who attend the setting. The elections take place at our Annual General Meeting in September, all parents are invited. Committee meetings are held monthly. All are welcome. Here is Our latest Newsletter
Our Funding
We receive nursery education grants for three and four year olds; where funding is not received, then fees apply.
Fees
The fees from September 2009 are: Cygnet session - £9.00, Swan session - £9.00, payable half-termly in advance.Fundraising
Fundraising is essential so that we can continue to provide toys, books and fund improvements to the pre-school for the benefit of our children. See our Fundraising activities for more information.Our Uniform
Uniform is entirely optional. Polo shirts, Sweatshirts and bookbags with the pre-school logo are avaialable from the Sewing Shop, 4 Echo Sq, Gravesend, DA12 1NP,Tel. 01474 536700.
